The Stewarding Resilience Foundation is a social practice project created and directed by artist Giovannah Marveige and fiscally sponsored by Culture Push.
Mission
To nurture the Global Majority’s capacity to thrive in challenging situations — that are intensified by the climate crisis — through creativity, community, and capacity building.
We leverage art as a tool for community building, creative problem solving, and resilience in the face of climate change.
Vision
The Stewarding Resilience Foundation works with Global Majority and other systematically and strategically under-resourced communities in the areas of emergency preparedness and climate change resilience. Through information sharing, community building, resiliency training, and art/creative activations, The Stewarding Resilience Foundation supports effective and sustainable community-led change that is rooted in equity and care.
The Stewarding Resilience Foundation is Global Majority centered and led. We are rooted in Global Majority critical thought and wisdom. We prioritize Global Majority community and grassroots led initiatives and responses to climate change resilience and emergency preparedness.
